VPN connects but cannot RDP or access network
Hi, I have a server running win2k server. I have installed Terminal Services and RRAS and configured them as per other similar servers I have. The router has ports 3389 and 1723 forwarded. I can telnet in on both ports. However, I cannot rdp or access the network once the vpn is open. I get...- garybeale

A couple of VPN questions
As far as I'm aware, and I'm happy to be corrected on this, you need a static IP to set up a vpn behind a cable modem. Once you have the static IP, you will then need to go through a registration process with the cable isp to register the router/server/whatever with them. Using services like...- garybeale
