Solved the issue myself, had tried to connect both machines using a hub and static addresses - still the same issue. Turned off the firewall on the machine hosting SERVER01 and was able to ping in both directions.
All I needed to do was configure the 10.0.0.0 range as trusted in the firewall...
I've got two desktop pc's running Virtual PC 2007, they are 192.168.0.2 and 3 going through a ADSL router. When I have a VM running on each (SERVER01 and SERVER02) I can ping 02 from 01 and access c$ etc. but not in the other direction. The VM's are using the desktops NIC at their network device...
I have created the virtual octal-density cards on the web interface and can create IP devices using the new TN's on those cards but when doing a LUVU through LD 20 I only see the 7 TN's that I had previously left?
Yeah, that the TN didn't exist...
I've managed to create the 108 0 02 and 108 0 03 ranges using the web interface now which has allowed me access to mey new licenses but am still curious how to add the virtual cards from the terminal.
This has been dumped on me and while I have basic knowledge of the system this is way beyond what I know. I've just had 50 new IP licences applied to the system and need to setup the TN's for them. The last IP TN at the moment is 108 0 01 31 so I would want them to start from 108 0 02 00 so they...
Not sure if the title may have confused but here goes: I have setup a menu system oso when users call 2333 they get options, option 2 calls a GHT number 1004 and I don't want the users to be able to call 1004 or know it exists.
Is there anyway to mask the number when the menu forwards to 1004...
Personally no I do not and I don't see why anyone needs it in the Corp Dir as the dept hunts are published on the Intranet... our over-enthusiastic Facilities Manager however wants this to happen and he's the driving force behind all of this!
I can't see an Include option, Corp Dir seems to just have reporting options. I'm going into TM Navigator > Utilities > Corp Directory.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
I'll give it a shot when I'm back in the office Monday... and yeah I was surprised that we're still on 3.2 - last time I looked I was convinced we were up to v5, maybe the help > about lied about the version!
If your no longer travelling a location on CD would be good, I found the quick card, user guide and call center guide but nothing explaining the key mappings for TM3.
I've got several DN's set up as GHT's and have been asked by the fac. manager to show these on the phones so when you dial 2222 you see Facilities Desk next to it as you would if you were dialing an extension assigned to a person.
Is there anyway to setup the system so that a virtual ext. can...
Hi,
We are using IP2002, M3920 and 1140e handsets on our Nortel system... is there a guide or something out there that tells you which button in TM3 corresponds to the physical button on the device without making the change and seeing what it does?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to have a look at them once in the office and see if this is how the user wants them setup.
SL1M1: If the two DN's were in the same call pickup group I assume that the call would have to be picked up using the call pickup button rather than the SCN button...
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a Key Expansion Module on a Nortel IP1140E phone... it's running on CS1000 TM v3.20.01.94
Basically the user would like to see the top 5 buttons on the expansion as 5 managers lines that they can pickup if the manager doesn't answer, they also want to transfer it back...
