semi-transparent drop down menus
Therein lies the problem, I need to have them sort of 'translucent'. As far as I know, transparent gif files are completely 'clear'. It is sort of like holding wax paper infront of a brighter object, you can see a ghost of what is behind. I need to have this completely Mac-PC Netscape-IE...- mnp13

A client of mine wants drop down menus that are semi-transparent. I want to avoid image rollovers and they don't want flash. Is there a way to make javascript drop downs that will show what is behind them, yet not be completely transparent? Just in case that paragraph made no sense... (or if...- mnp13

I am trying to write the SQL for a forum, I have one table with the forum topics and another for the forum posts. I need to create the 'front page' listing that will show all of the topics and the date of the most recent post for each one. Currently I have 5 topics and 16 posts, I need a result...- mnp13
