Calls to our president is suppose to be forwarded to his assistant's phone. I set an Answer DNS on the assistant's DNS. Internal calls are being routed to the assistant's phone but when someone uses the president's DID, it goes to the president's phone and not his assistant's.
What a I missing?
The reception is suppose to answer all incoming calls and route them but at times she doesn't get to a 2nd call until after several rings if she's already on a call.
She would like to set it so that if she's on a call, the 2nd incoming call rings once, then flashes to remind her there's...
Using DND is not really an option because she is managing a fairly busy switchboard. With our old phone system, if she was already on a line, it would ring once and the line would flash after the first ring.
Is there a setting for something like this?
How do I change the reception's phone (control) set to ring only once if she is already on a call? Right now, the 2nd call will continuously ring while she is already on a call and this can be distracting.
