Access 97 loosing Oracle ODBC Connection Settings
Not each time.... Just once in awhile... They log into the Access database using a SYSTEM.MDA file. And every once in awhile, it prompts them for their useer credentials and databse to connect to... Its not even when they leave the pc for 10 minutes... they can be using it over and over, and...- Vladymir

No... And for a good reason... I do not want someone else using my credentials to access the tables... This is a shared environment, where some users simply have read access with no or little update, where as an Admin such as myself needs access to all tables... If it saved my credentials...- Vladymir

Access 97 loosing Oracle ODBC Connection Settings
I have an ACCESS 97 database (Can you believe companies still use this???) called "PTS" this databse establishes a connection to an Oracle 8i (soon to be 9i) database, thru a Security file. From time to time, a window pops up asking the user to re-enter their credentials to access the oracle...- Vladymir
