    ok, I have made sure that the isp dns servers are right and that all the computers talk to my servers then my isp. I cant see any thing wrong, mabe you could try a ping to deeks.no-ip.info

    Right, yes my dns servers handle all internal dns stuff and then for an internet site they look to my isp's dns, but some times they cant find my isp. I have both root hints and forwaders on, do i need to nurn 1 off? all my computers get dns from my dhcp.

    That is because the cached zone is an advanced option. If you right click go to view and click advanced it should show up. :)

    Hi I need some help, I have an internal network that has 2 win2K servers with dns, and a d-link di-604 router to get online. Every so often i go to use the internet and i get a host not found from Netscape, all my computers less the 2 servers get all ip info from my dhcp.

    Yes, the website has the same name as the ad. Nothing on my network works with dns, i know that every thing works offline, but online it all stops.

    I have a single win 2k server with AD, dns, dhcp and a web server. i have a belkin router to get on the internet, but when online i cant get on to my internal webserver. it works by IP, but to get online i have to put my isp dns in be for my dsn. van any one help?
