Must reboot Pix 515...
I changed the fixup protocol dns maximum length to 1024 and that seems to have done it. No problems since yesterday. Thanks a bunch, it was driving us nuts.- vfr1999

I'm relatively new to working with firewalls, so please bear with me. Recently a guy set up a PIX 515 for us and a couple of weeks after it went online we started experiencing a problem. At seemingly random times, attempts to access sites like Yahoo and Monster.com result in Page not found...- vfr1999

DNS Fails to certain sites
I'm relatively new to DNS and need some help. At different times we'll lose the ability to access some web sites like Yahoo and Google. Many sites continue to come up fine, such as ESPN, MSN, etc... Right now we are able to get back to those sites by flushing the server DNS cache and...- vfr1999
