CCNA is a great certification to have. In fact, I am currently in graduate school and my "Networking Technology" class uses Todd Lammle's CCNA Study Guide, Deluxe Edition as its textbook. I was a bit surprised to learn that a graduate level technology class was using a CCNA book, but...
Is it possible to create a formula that displays the last date from a field that contains several dates? I have a sales database that contains several users, contacts, and dates of their appointments. I would like to create a formula in which I can view just the very last date they contacted...
Hello all!
I am a beginning Crystal user and am having trouble creating a formula to do the following:
* I have a string field ({Rep}), that contains a user ID number and their name. The ID number is always constant, but may contain a different beginning variable. This will be either a...
...you have at least "Power User" rights on your local PC and see if they will give you Modify rights to the Crytal Enterprise server. This *should* eliminate the error message you received. Since you gave no specifics as to your computing enviroment, we can only speculate what the...
...file, republish to CE 9. I had the same exact problem when I started and that fixed it for me. You will not be able to publish report to CE 8 nor will you be able to use this report in CR 8.5 after you do the above procedure.
* ALWAYS make a backup copy of your reports before doing...
I'm afraid I do not know the answer to your question sbdavis. I had this problem with CE 9 and was looking for an answer - this is what I found.
I would recommend that you upgrade to get the full feature set available for this product. I'm sure this is something that you do not want to do for...
The ActiveX viewer can be obtained by clicking on the "Preferences" link of the logged on user from ePortfolio.
If you are using "Guest" access or Enterprise access, just enable it for each account that has this limitation by clicking on the "Preferences" link at...
Any update to this? I have same problem and I am not about to edit my registy and certainly not going to write Java to fix the problem. This is utter BS that they would limit us like this - I am so angry with Crystal Decisions. My reports worked just fine under CE 8.5, now in CE 9, this is my...

if no, check your database, this should work...then try again...
if yes, move on to step 2
2. OpMgr to ContHist using AcctNo.
That worked for me...however, all of the fields I chose after the link...
I haven't seen anyway to backwards save in CR 9 (however, I haven't explorered all of the options yet either!). It will take a CR 8.5 report and when save it normally will say that it is converting to CR 9 and will therefore not be readable by CR 8.5.
Good question and good luck.

From the administrator logon, uninstall GoldMine link from Word - this can be done inside of Word, under the GoldMine menu option.
Check macro security settings. Reinstall WordLink. Also make sure you download ver. 6.0 of WordLink from FrontRange.
Good luck!
From inside of Word, check which version of WordLink you are using. From the "File, Edit, View" menu, choose "GoldMine" -> About GoldMine Link to Word (or similar). If the version is 5.5, you'll have to download and install an updated one from FrontRange. I use GM 5.7 with...
