I found the problem in case any one else has the same problem here is what was happening. My gpo was set to log-off anyone that was disconnected but not logged off for more than a day. I'm not sure why it was logging me off imediately if I did not disconnect in the manner that M$ wanted me too...
I don't know if it's possible but when I close an rdesktop session it logs me out of the server completely. Does anyone know of a way to kill an rdesktop window and be able to reconnect to the same session later without using the windows disconnect option.
What port or prgram are you tryin to access from the internet? IS the static ip set and working and on which device is it set the speedstream or BEFW11S4?
What you need to do is open the port that you want to connect to. If the ip is set on the speedstream you can forward the port you want to...
This isue has been resolved thanks to wirelesspeap.
Below is the post that fixed it if anyone else has the same issue.
isakmp nat 10
You need to tell the pix 501 that the client may be behind
a firewall. That way, pix will use nat-T and it will work.
Try it and let us know.

Thanks that worked. You saved my weekend.
I could of sworn I tried this before and the fact that one machine worked was really messing me up.
I owe you one.
Two of the xp machines have norton anti-virus that contains internet worm protection. I have it disabled and still no go. The third xp machine does not have any other firewalls and does not work.
If this really is a wap and not a router turn off dhcp on the wap and let your dlink handle the dhcp. When you get a conflict and type in ipconfig /all what is the dhcp server adress is it the WAP. I thought that most WAP since they are just access points not router do not include dhcpd...
I used the Symantec VPN devices for a long time. Don't do it. They are much easier to configure than a pix if you’re not familiar but they will give you nothing but headaches. They drop connection very easily and the power cords go bad allot. I suggest taking the time to learn Cisco. The pix...
You can put you dsl modem into bridge mode and then set up the pix for PPOE. Most modems you can browse to and change them to bride mode just look at the default gate way of the outside interface.
This doesn't exactly answer your question but I usually do this with two devices. 1 your wireless router and 2 a second firewall device. If you put the wireless router on the outside (between the internet and firweall) it will allow access to the internet but the firewall will block the pc's...
Currently the govermnet is not asking for who is searching what just what is being searched. However it is possible for google to give them your IP adress wich can identify the individual user. For most home users without a registered domain they would have to go to the ISP to find out who the...
From a command line see if you can connect with smbclient //machine name/share name -U username. In this case use Jaime as your login name since this is the only one that works from windoze machines. You will be prompted for a password. If you are able to connect you can use mkdir to make your...
I don't know of any software that will do port forwarding. If you cannot access the router that is connected to your internet connection you could put another firewall/router in between the internet router and where the ports are currntly being forwarded. If the ports are being blocked at the...
