Another update. Got it to work some of the time. It is up and down. I know it has to do something with the security settings, just don't know what.
Still getting the same Error 17 when the connection is not working.
New twist. I can connect to the linked server using computer management on the local server. Go to EM and refresh. I see the linked server but still cannot connect, gives me Error 17.

I am trying to set a reports printer to a label printer using code. Is there another way besides using the PrtDevMode, PrtDevNames, or PrtMip Properties. If not is there an easy way to set the printer when the report opens and reset it back to what was the default when the report closes.
