Newbie! Convert String to Null
The easiest way I can think of doing it is setting that column (FirstName) to allow nulls. Then you should be able to pass an empty string to it. There might be a better way of handling this though. I'm new to Sql myself.- bb9786

VB.Net Sql Connection Problem
Hi all, I have a form that connects to a Sql Server 2005 database. I specify the connection string, but when the form opens it gives me a Microsoft .Net Framework error that says "Login failed for user 'OPERATIONS\xxxx'".
