Sorry, let me clarify. The Arcserve NT account was logged in with the *old* password on another unit.

This happened to me once. It turned out that the Arcserve NT account was logged onto the network on another machine. It can even be a desktop.

Using Arcserve 6.61, I enabled a tape log tab right next to the activity log tab but don't remember how I did it. I'd like to add it on our second BU server. Can anyone please be of assistance? Thanks.

Yes, I enabled debug yesterday but a full backup ran clean last night and you're right, the log file is huge. I will keep an eye on it and report back what the log indicates in the event of a failure. Thanks for your support David.

The NT driver is not loaded and since this is a BDC, it really has no apps on it that might try to access the tape drive.
