Jabmrw, Go to www.fredmiranda.com and look for his action that will resize pictures and keep the quality pretty much in tack. I have tried it doing the resizing by doing it in 112% increments. He has an action that will do it automatically and you can specify the size.

KH707, Go to www.fredmiranda.com. He has some great actions that will resize photos and I think most of them will do batches. But these actions do take some time to run so make a pot of coffee.
