ok folks...me and soaplover rule.
the cd rom and writer were rebooting the computer becaus of the power supply..
so if u have the same trouble buy a new 1...16 quids.

i opend the pc and noticed a stretch in a power supply cable. i give it a tug and it...

k..i tried the thread thing....is it an application aswell. it took 5 attemps to run through the chknow thins...i used run:.
it need to check the contents of the apps. then it jus switched off. event viewer said nothing.its wierd really most of the times are wrong. mabey i jus dont know...

every cd restarts my computer as itstarts to spin up.No conflicts or errors are shown.tried and tested most things,i have no driver software to reinstall but there are identical drivers on both cd-rom and cdr.(system32\drivers\afs2k.sys , cdrom.sys , imapi.sys ,incdm.sys , redbook.sys...
nero hasnt got any drivers in there,all thats left from that package is a plugin and a disk image thing that creates another cd-rom drive. going to search for that sys file again..running out of ideas.
still problems...restarting on spin up.if it does get through an install its messed up.

k soap..i did all that..i found all without needing a disk or driver....i didnt do it in safe mode..should i..all devices say they a working properly..these drivers are left

ok..incd is nero.......afs2k is a mystery to me.do u think maybe this could be it,i dont understand why these drivers would be on both drives. is that a mess or a mess. does my cd rom really need the nero driver..huh strange..im off to bed..thanx soaplover youve helped me out..im gettin closer.
nero is all i can think of..i had easy cd with the computer but unistalled. can i take jus 1 driver out at a time.i dont no what the dll file is either
