The particular program I want to uninstall is one that I wrote and packaged with installshield.
However, nNone of the installed programs have the "Remove" button next to them in the Add/Remove Programs dialog.
Any idea how to fix this?

Hi All,
I created an Admin user (other than Administrator). I added that new Admin user account to the following groups:
Administrators
Domain Admins
Domain Users
Enterprise Admins
Remote Desktop Users
I want to uninstall a program using Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel. However...
Never mind I got it. Apparently the error was happening during conversion to an older format. When I "Saved As..." simply an "Excel Worksheet" it worked fine.

Hi All,
I'm stuck in a rut. I have an Excel 2003 sheet, the macros are disabled. When I click save the first time, it's fine. When I click save the second time, it crashes Excel. I don't even have to change anything, just click save twice.
Any idea what's going on?

Hey Blue,
I found out how to do it. I actually replied to another post with the answer but forgot to close out my own.
In Word 2003 (and 2002 I believe) the MailMerge Helper is no longer available by default. It has been replaced with the Mail Merge Wizard. The MailMerge Helper offers the...
...under Tools->Customize then click on the Commands tab. In the left box, Categories, choose "All Commands" (it's not in alphabetical order either *stupid Office Development team*. Anyhow, go down the list of "Commands" in the box on the right until you find MailMerge Helper (this one is in...
Need to track well all intrusions or attempted intrusions. Not sure what software I need for this. Have been using some freeware, but not sure if it is truly within the licensing. Mostly, I want to know that no one is even attempting to hack my server. (Currently using MyNetWatchman, in...
The utility I downloaded from FAQ779-4625 was exactly what I needed. After running the utility I reset the modem and rebooted it worked perfectly. Thank you very much this one had me up against the ropes.

Setup to automatically receive IP address and DNS server names; no firewalls; always on connection. I'm going to try and swap nic and cable today. I'll also try the tool.

Hi All,
I have a Windows XP computer that doesn't want to connect to the internet. I've called RoadRunner and determined that the problem isn't with them (hooked up my laptop and it worked just fine). When I do an IPConfig the domain suffix which should read hawaii.rr.com is blank the ip...
Hi All,
We perform mail merge printing for some of our clients. Lately (and sporadically) the printing has slowed tremendously from about 20+ pages per minutes to about 2 pages per minute. Sometimes if we play with the file enough it somehow shakes whatever is slowing the printing and gives...
Hi All,
We currently have a SonicWall ISA. One problem is that it doesn't support VPN, unless we pay them a little more. The other problem is that our SonicWall apparently doesn't allow what I've been told is a "round-trip" to our web server. Basically we can't access our own...
...to the IM in MSN from another location (different city). I wonder if their network could be experiencing problems.
I know Kazaa has alot of sh*# but that's what they wanted so??? you know how that goes.
By the way what exactly is spyware, I've heard the term thrown around a bit but haven't...
Just to get the story straight. You CAN run some DOS programs and get a DOS window using NTFS. However, you cannot access the drive from another computer running only on DOS. This means unless you have a DOS computer that needs to access the drive this is ALMOST a non-issue, other than...
Hi All,
We just put up a Windows XP box, we like to use Microsoft Explorer as it is a nice integrated easy-to-use environment. We are having trouble installing MSN Explorer, we haven't done anything fancy; MS Office, Lexmark all-in-one printer driver and Kazaa. When we try to install MSN...
Thanks guys I have now decided to make the full switch to xp. Also I admire the professionalism between the both of you (Jason for the "no offense" line and Brad for no taking any) that's not often found in these forums.

Hi All,
This may sound like the dumbest question in the world but IIS in XP and 2000 look so legit I just gotta ask.
Can I host a web page using the PROFESSIONAL version of either Windows XP or Windows 2000?
Thanks for the info.
Aloha,
James
