Ok... I was able to get the hard drive hooked up to another computer and was able to run CHKDSK on it. Hooked it back up and the computer will now boot....however... now the keyboard/mouse will not work.
I tried booting into safemode and they still don't work there.... any suggestions?

I am getting to the initial point of the Windows XP load screen and then right away it is going to the BSOD.
