Problem with Office XP after uninstalling Office 2000
I have a 1.6 GHz P4, Asus P4S333 systemboard 256MB PC2700 RAM with MS XP Prof (clean install)running. I installed Office XP (did not own but wanted to peak), then uninstalled it from ADD/Remove Applications, I installed MS Office 2000 then the SR1 packs (CD1, CD2). Thanks for the response. I did all the normal things to remove Office XP and Office 2000. None of the MS tools go completely remove Office work in XP (Windows Installer 2). This is a problem that MS knows about (I think that it is a big one since it involves MS Office which is a critical...- cerwidget
