Oops... I didn't mention how it helped. The first link you provided broke out each type of connection string for connecting to an access database using ADO. I just needed to identify the correct one for working with an .mdw file. Again thanks a lot!- Tecknow

Thanks Roy-Vidar!!!! This is exactly what I needed. You were correct about the .mdw file. I needed the connection string to log onto a Access database that was protected with a workgroup file (aka user level security). Thanks for the help! You deserve a star![2thumbsup]- Tecknow
