To second post, the mailbox_size_limit is currently set to 0, meaning unlimited size. There shouldn't be any mailboxes on the server though as it's just being used to forward SMTP to and from the backend Exchange, but maybe it's holding it in a temp mailbox as it does so? My understanding from...
Noway2, thanks for responding. No other software running on the server yet, eventually it will have Kaspersky's gateway spam filter on it, but need to get POSTFIX running correctly first.
I'm using POSTFIX as a SMTP fronted relay to an Exchange 2007 backend. The default size for attachments in POSTFIX is 10 MB. I've set that in the configuration file to be 20 MB. When I look at postconf -n it verifies that the limit is set to 20 MB, (message_size_limit = 20480000). I've stopped...
I have several VPN's coming into the main office using 5xp's in the field connecting to NS25 in the main office. I used to get an email everytime they would go up/down, but they've stopped recently. I'm still getting other messages like IP Spoofing alerts, etc, but not the VPN messages. Anyone...
Just to verify it's not an issue with the code on the webpage, I opened an RDP session directly, cleared the "map printers" and connected, still getting my local printer mapped.
Thanks for the input, but we use the Remote Server Login webpage with TSWeb on IIS. The setting there is:
MsRdpClient.AdvancedSettings2.RedirectPrinters = FALSE
but we still get the printers mapped.
The settings for Printer Redirection in the Group Policy are as follows:
Do not set default client printer to be default printer in a session - Enabled
Do not allow client printer redirection - Enabled
Specify terminal server fallback printer driver behavior - Not configured
I've also...
We have 2 Windows Server 2003 Terminal Servers that are constantly mapping printers from the client computers. I've disabled client printer mapping in both the Terminal Server Configuration and the Terminal Server section of the Group Policy.
No matter how I set it, it always maps the default...
We have a PHP script utilizing sendmail to send e-mails to internal and external e-mail addresses. The script worked fine with Exchange 2003. Now that we've implemented Exchange 2007, the script can still send mail to the internal addresses, local.user@mydomain.com, but can't sent to any...
The error on the webpage with the script is:
Mailer Error: Language string failed to load: recipients_failed{external.email@msn.com}
Nothing in the event logs from Exchange server. The machine has not been granted access because the script uses SMTP authentication with an AD user...

That's just the event from you killing the Outlook process. I'd also check the System Event Log and see if there's anything there.
Is this happening on multiple machines in your environment or just a single workstation?
Excuse the cross-post, I also posted this in the Exchange 2007 forum, but I need to find an answer fast:
Since our migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003 users are constantly prompted to enter their user name and password. Checking the box to remember password has no...
Since our migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003 users are constantly prompted to enter their user name and password. Checking the box to remember password has no effect. Every 5 - 10 minutes they're prompted to enter it again. If they click cancel, Outlook switches to...
Anyone know the limits of how many/what size files Vista's Compressed (Zipped) Folders can handle? If I select more than a dozen good sized files, it only puts 6 or 7 in, skips the rest and leaves a bunch of .tmp files in the folder with the same name as the .zip file.
I've tried this on...
There is no Control Panel/Remote Assistance, but under the Remote tab of System Properties, Remote Assistance is enabled. (This is being applied correctly from the GPO)
