    Thanks for the tips Sunny! These must be the older drives, they have the ID jumpers on the back & I have used them outside this case before. Being 50 pin drives they only have 3 ID jumpers (0 1 2) which allow ID's 0-7. The backplane does set the SCSI ID's, In this case thru a 6 pin connector...
