Has anyone used or tested the Nortel T7316 phones on the new card yet? I have a client that is a big Norstar shop and will move to the IP Office if they can keep their T7316 phones.
Thanks
I have built a new class of service and changed the message retention days to 5 for both new and saved messages and changed a users mailbox to that COS. It seems to be ignoring those settings and keeping messages forever. Is there some where else I need to look?
Thanks
Thanks guys. I will have to go with the ring group option for now. The PDN SDN feature is for ver 3.2 and above. I will have to see how much our vendor will charge for an upgrade.
I just got a new client that has a Panasonic TDA 100. I'm very familar with Avaya and Norstar systems, so forgive my ignorance.
One of the bosses wants his Phone to also ring at his assistants desk, and if neither answer for it to go to his VM, this is called Line Appearance on Avaya and...
I did have 91 in the prefix and have removed it, still nothing in the line appearance action data drop down.
I will try and upgrade to the lastest ver tomorrow.
I do have unique line appearance ids, sorry that is what I meant by the 21 to 24, I have since changed the line appearance ids to 721 to 724 but they still don't show up in the drop down...weird huh?
One of my clients has a SOE ver 4.0(7) with 4 pots coming in. They want me to add line appearances to their 6416 phones but when I try to add a line appearance, the action data drop down is blank. I do have line ids programmed (21 to 24) Any ideas on what I'm missing?
Thanks, this sort of works. I can light the phone with a message, but the *90*N# just adds another display message, it doesn't clear the *91*N# message. Unless I setup my shortcode wrong.
Open up IP Office Manager
Click Help
Click Contents
Open Appendix CDR Records
Open Record Formats
It will list all of the CDR formats, open one and it will display a field list and what char postion the field is at.
This is how I found them for my custom app.
One of my clients has a SOHO running ver 4.0(7) with no voicemail. He wants to know if the receptionist can press a button to light his MWI when she takes a message for him and then can turn it off when he gets his messages from her. They all have 6416D phones.
Thanks
I have a SOE 3.2 with 4 analog lines.
I have 91 in the prefix so Phone Manager and an analog handset can do return calls from caller id log.
I have developed a custom app that grabs the CDR data but when I use the prefix the last two digits of the incoming caller id are cut off.
Is this a bug...
What is the date of your OCX? I had a similar problem once and went to an earlier version. Mine is dated 6/24/98 and works great with Access 2000 and above.
If I understand your question correctly, I belive if you have your laptop VPN into the network that the IP Office is on and you use Phone Manager Pro software on your laptop and it has a sound card you can make calls to and thru the IP Office.
I have an IP Office SOE in my location, and hardware vpn setup between my location and a remote employee. He is currently using an IP hardphone. He wants to know if I can extend an analog line to him, so he can attach a modem and call out of the SOE in my location as all of our clients are...
