I've been setting up IP Communicator for many users for my customer. The typical process is the end user would submit a request for IP comm, I would get a work order to set up the profile in Call Manager, and another department would push IP comm to their laptop and it would appear under...
Is there a limit to the number of entries I can have in an IDC table? We may have an additional 1000 digit convertions coming our way and want to be ready.
Thanks
I've been told that when the phone is forwarded via the FORWARD key (CFXA and CFW 12), the same results occur.
As i'm writing this, could this be a problem with the actual cell phone not accepting the call? Perhaps a different CLID/ANI is sent to the cell phone depending on the origin of the...
MWC is set to YES. I did not do the original programming, but I'm helping my co-worker that did. We are assuming that the phone numbers prefix, 800, might be causing the trouble somewhere along the line.
OK everyone, I have a unique one. Here it goes:
Two buildings, two separate PBX's (opt 81s) and voicemails
Building A carries all trunking for both; including inbound DID traffic.
Building A and B connected via TIE lines.
Building B only has a few copper trunks for E911 calls.
All inbound and...
I think I know what you're getting at Phonz1. Call setup and teardown is done by the D-channel. If the D-channel is trying to set up call on certain circuit/channel, and the t1's are not in order, then setup can not occur. Did that make sense? Is that what you mean?
LTM does have all 6 in the route.
I forgot to test outbound on the three. I'll test those in a few. I need to set up a test port from Irving to Sacramento and get it done. I'll post outbound test results

PHONZ1,
I didn't think they needed to be in order. This site is in Texas and I'm in Sacramento. I could have my vendor go out and check. I don't understand why my engineer put the three new circuits in the middle.
Johnpoole,
I just tried your script and it worked fantastic. I do have an ignorant question, though. My company has PBX's in every time zone. If I'm on the west coast, and run your script while logged into one or our east coast PBXs, will I've just set it the pacific time?
Thanks
It Works now thanks to dlesap and his suggestion to look at LD 16 RDB,DNAM YES. DNAM defualt=NO, Changed it to YES and it worked fine. I have several very happy call center managers.
Thanks to all that replied.
Here's the scenario:
800 Call is presented to PBX via T-1
DNIS (1532) digits are received
DNIS (1532) converted to 5032 via IDC table
5032 is an ACDN that is NCFW to Voicemail
In Meridian Mail:
5032 is a TD controller
Caller is given menu options
Option 2 is to be transferred (Call) DN 6132
