Now, I have to send email to all the users in the above list. The above list...
Mstrgrl,
I ran into the situation once. The production project is renamed to some other project name. It happened to two of our projects. This happened when we migrated to 8.0 and it only happened that one time. All we did was to restart the server to see the problem disappear.

Hello everybody,
I have a compound attribute to get me "Item# & Warehouse Code" of an item. It was all working fine, when on one not-so-fine day, Someone/me messed up with the compound attribute (May have deleted/added a child or parent to this compund attribute). Now, the SQL looks like...
Hi Rambo..
Thank you for your response. Actually, I am working on DB2 but not teradata.
You observation with the join seem reasonable to me. However, either full/left outer join dint give me any results.
So, ultimately, I removed one metric that is off the "GROSSINVAMT" fact column to...
Hi iolaper & Rambo
I dont have any metric called '0'. All you do is:
1) Open a new metric (Metric Editor)
2) Type in.... ZeroToNull(0)
OR
a) Click on "f(x)"
b) Double Click on "Null/Zero Functions" folder
c) Choose "ZeroToNull" function and click next
d) In the "Arg1" field...

2) Place it wherever you need a null column.

Hi Teccum,
I know that there is a round-about for the purpose that you mentioned in your post.
Can I have another project created for your second source of data and use datamarts to bring the results from EXCEL into your original project?
Hope that helps.

Hi FLB,
Upgrading Works like a charm.
Actually we need to upgrade even the Iserver, Web & NC along with the rest of the desk tops.
The Iserver upgradation seemed pretty straight forward. But the only precaution we took was to have a backup of metadata. Once we got the backup, we upgraded the...

Hi iolaper,
Thank you for your suggestions. It seems like I was able to figue out the culprit here. And now my report seem to be working.
Thank you very much.

I have this error while trying to execute a report:
"Fact does not exist at a level that can suppport the requested for analysis"
I am sure most of you have come across this.
From my knowledge, there may be two reasons for this...
1) If the fatc is not defined at the intended level...
