10-10 numbers are used to bypass your primary long-distance carrier. If for example you're long-distance can't complete a call to specific long-distance location, you can try inserting a 1010 number for another carrier to complete the call.
In your case, if you ever had a call make it to the...
I have a configuration whereby calls flow through three VDNs to access an application behind Voice Portal.
The first two VDNs have 'VDN override' enabled (y) and the last VDN has 'VDN override' disabled.
The last VDN is the number Voice Portal uses to identify the which application to use...
Have you considered using a vector routing table instead?
1. goto step 5 if ANI in table 1
2. wait n
3. route-to 6666
4. stop
5. disconnect

We are upgrading to AVAYA Release 5 IP Agent. We are getting 500 Agents
We currently have 500 Release 4 IP Agents. We are going to stage the installation of R 5 Agents. 100 per week.
The question is can R4 agents log in using the R5 RTUs, so that we can provision the R5 agents over time
Thanks

Try display circuit-packs and make sure there's no translations for any circuit packs in C.
Also, do a change cabinet and make sure C carrier isn't still translated as a port-carrier
Just a thought.....
You may have something bussied out on the standby side.
If you "status PNC" you should show warnings if there's smething bussied out. Confirm that at the top of the page "Standby Busied" says "no"
Do a display errors and specify error code 18(busy condition).
If you have any PNC components...
Just installed a Modular Messaging System. This may be a dumb question, but any assistance would be appreciated.
Can someone explain how to transfer callers directly to a Modular Messaging mailbox without ringing the PBX extension?
I installed a PDM type data-module on an S8700. Testing proved that it does work. Documentation says they are not supported. However, that does not mean they don't work.
We need to maintain these PDM's for a short period after the upgrade. Fortunately, it looks as if we can.

Thanks Chris. However, I shoudl have specified hardware minimum vintages. That's what I needed.
If you're interested:

You may have to right-click this link and choose copy.
If you have tenant partitioning turned on, you administer your music source under "change music source" as opposed to "change system-parameters features".
You could then assign each Business to their own Tenant Partition, and specify unique music sources for each Partition.
That's the only way...
Can someone provide a link to the latest Avaya Minimum Vintage document.
I've been searching the Avaya product document website for about 45 minutes now! I must be missing it.
Any assistance would be appreciated!
Does anyone have a CM2.0 Compatibility Matrix?
currently have a CSI 1.3 with Definity Audix
I've been told that 2.0 will not support the Definity Audix.
I'd like to see something in writing.
My rep has been wrong many times before.
If you UDP to the attendant extension, calls from the satelite location will not drop in the attendant queue, like assistu suggests, but if you UDP to an LDN or VDN like marcell55 suggests, it will work. LDN is probably easier.
I think you may have to assign the 0 extension a remote coverage...
