To answer David's question is no we do not have any IP phones at this time. 1 year away at this time. I'm trying to get back to the site to try joining a 4 pair wire and make it a single pair from the basement up to the second floor to see if that little bit will make a difference. I can get it...
Joe, we had a analog set for years and it works fine but the user is the President of the company and he wanted a 6416D+ set or a 6408D+ in his house so he can have bridged appearances of his office phone that is in the main building.
Again, this is all on same property with customer owned...

Yes the cable pair is protected. I tried it with removing the protectors just for grins, no change.
I'm wondering if I joined 2 pairs [ doubled up ] to decrease the resistance of the wire from point to point if that would make any difference. Hmmm
I currently have a 6408D+ set running off of a 2224Cp port that I need to install in a on property location but the station location is just over the footage limit of 2,500 ft from the PBX. The connection is point to point copper cable [ on same property ]
I tested the set at the distant...
TTTommy, Thanks for the quick reply. A star for you!.[thanks] but I have another question that needs to be confirmed. Can I assume that if I want to steer new lines 13--16 go to Auto Attnd #2, that I will get into the VM as the administrator the usual way, and then press 3 for Auto attnds...then...
I have a Partner ACS 8.0 that is currently in pooled mode with 20 stations and 12 lines. My customer wants to add another separate department to his business with 5 stations and 4 new lines. I would like to put the new department in his system as squared lines using Line assignment #301 and then...
Thanks to all for the reply & info..Commscope technical support got back to me and they were extremely helpful. They provided me with the correct part number for the modular blank 24 port panel... [Commscope # M2000 ] which will take my systemax MPS 100E jacks.
Thanks Again
Rich[2thumbsup]
Thanks to all for the reply's, I have submitted a email to Commscope for a item or part number but have not heard back from them yet. The blank modular panel I'm in search of is one that the Systemax MPS 100 E jacks will fit into, They are not the Keystone or Leviton or the ICC brand name type...
Hello, I'm in search of blank 24 port or 48 port patch panels that I can insert the Systimax MPS 100E jacks in one at a time as needed instead of buying a regular loaded Cat 5 or Cat 6 patch panel. There are occasions when installation would be easier if I could just terminate the jack outside...
GMgerry....sooo right...I have been using a thin fiberglass 10' rod by "Labor Saving devices" for years and find it to be the best, but I'm always interested in new tools that save me time and money....

Just as I thought...but I had to ask....
As Walter Cronkite used to say when he signed off every night.....
" And thats the way it is "
I'm quite sure the answer to my question is NO but since this site has so much talent out there I feel it's worth a try.

I thought that also, but after reading the documentation, it states that Voice Mail ports can be used for Guest Mailbox's.
I found it a little odd, but I tried it and it seems to work fine.
Just wondering if anyone had issue's.
Rich
