I would reboot in safe mode, run Ad Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Get the latest version of HijackThis and run the log again. You should not have any iexplorer processes running at the time.

Adrian brings up good points. Developing at night and keeping your day job might be the way to go for you for now.
I think the first thing should be to decide what type of products are you going to produce. Are they going to be used in the telecommunications field, dental field, engineering...
Your problem might be due to the look2me spyware. Use the Kill2me program and see if that fixes it. Here's a link to get it.

I would suggest running SpywareGuard...it's a program that runs real time, and although they haven't updated for awhile it keeps IE from being changed. It's been very helpful when trying to fight spyware. I've also noticed that having the user log in with no admin rights helps. It prevents...
Ok, I have a report that needs to pull the terminated employees for the last week from the SQL database. I can pull ALL the terminated employees, but I only need it to show from todays date and the previous 7 days (this report is scheduled to run every Fri) data. Without using parameters, how...
I performed a restore from a full backup and now the database says it's loading and it greyed out instead of yellow (SQL 2000). It's been 3 hrs now, how long will a 950mb database take to fully load?
Also, go with G, that is the latest technology and will provide the most security. Everything that bcastner said is right on the money...especially staying with the same products. Eliminates a lot of headaches unless you are really good with wireless. Make sure you set up 128 bit encryption...
Personally, I'd make the site look different because it looks very similar to the one in your portfolio section. If I was looking for someone to design my website, I probably wouldn't choose your company because you've only showcased 2 different designs. If you change this one around, then...
Wireless networks use the same principles as a wired network, but security will be your main concern. A wireless network isn't 100% foolproof, but you can make it almost darn impossible to get in. Make sure you use 128 bit encryption and have it so it changes the key every so often. Do a...

O'Reilly also has some books on this.
Make sure you use the MAC address and SSID and get those set up properly.
I have been one of the fortunate ones during this IT downturn, and I contribute it to having a great IT background, good problem solving skills, and personality that is likeable. I started out in college as Pre-Med, but working part time at the computer lab on campus (which is one of the best...
Must be doing some serious networking to need a T3. I don't have any prices to through at you, but a T3 is a lot of power. I'd be interested in hearing what you are using it for.
Rexburg,
You've gotten some good responses here. I have been involved in something similar where I had to put up the "good fight" so to speak. Here are some tips:
a. Double check with your nephew. Ask if inappropriate pictures came up on the screen at any time. Tell him that stuff...
I had this exact same thing and in my hosts file was a bunch of entries for google. Delete those and like Chris said, get spybot and run it. Even with all my protection, I still got hit with this, but was easily cured.
Changed it to use ODBC...which helped a little. Now if I put in a date range say 1/1/2002 - 8/1/2002 it brings up all that data plus the 2003 data in that date range too. It's not distinguishing the parameters it looks like.
I searched on this, but couldn't find anything.
Can I take a formula and make it a parameter in CR 8.5?
Basically what has happened is, I have an Access database with dates in it, Crystal thinks it's a string, so I wrote a formula to make it a date. But in the report I need the user to select a...
