I am experiencing the same issue on ML350, SBS2003, GroupShield... haven't turned off reboot option to check blue screen / error.
please post results, if you've found a resolution... I suspect groupshield and backupexec agent...
You might not want to modify the default domain policy, and consider creating a new "Windows Firewall" policy that you can link to your Computers OU (or similar).
Also, if you haven't already... download and use the Group Policy Management Console...
Possibly use RIS and/or disk image Ghost etc, to include your Office Install? But this would only work with a full OS build/rollout vs. current workstation upgrade or office only install. Retail version is not compatible with CIW etc. from Office Resource Kit Deployment tools req. for Group...
Yes you can deploy via GPO, most commonly to computers vs Users. You most likely will want to download the Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit, which include Custom Install Wizard, allowing you to specify removal of existing installs, add packages, define install options, enter keys, etc etc...

I finally bit the bullet and took the Net+ test yesterday, a whole year after attending a class. Passed it! Should have done this a long time ago, having been IT Admin for 5+ years now.
