If all powers up ok but you get no beeps then look to the CPU. Remove and reseat make sure connections are clean. If you still have probs then I agree with the other guys that a motherboard is the next thing to swap out.

Check out the read me on the 3com driver disk, I seem to remember a problem with the windows driver. I think you have to run a delete program from the 3 com disk which removes the windows driver and prompts you for the correct driver from 3com.

I have had this problem myself. The only way I have been able to fix this is to replace the drive or the cable.
Try the cable first. Somtimes if just one strand is damaged you can view the a:\ but cannot save files.

I too am very intrested in any real info regarding SarePoint. I have visited Microsoft for a briefing and it looks impressive. But I guess it would there.
