I know about the increased bandwith etc... of USB 2.0, but if you have a USB 2.0 device, can you run it through a USB 1.1 port. I can't upgrade to USB 2.0.
Failing that, is there a serial-USB 2.0 connector? I know its a long shot! But hey...

hi,
one of my users managed to delete their inbox (r5.0.6), which came back as i refreshed the database design.
The problem is, none of the mails which were there previously, are still in the inbox. Incoming mail is delivered to the inbox, and i COULD go through 'All Documents' and copy them...
ive had the same problem, but when i refresh the design, the Inbox is empty. Is there a way to restore the incoming mail to the Inbox?
As it stands, all new mail arrives in the Inbox, but the user wants the old mail restored as well.

is there a way to globally change the agent to run on reciept of new mail, or will i have to change each client individually? Like kimber45, my users do not like the delay, but i dont much fancy applying the change to 50 odd machines.

If i open the address book, and then the contacts details screen, i can then use forward from the Actions menu to forward the details to another user.

i have now installed a Cannon Network printer, which is also attached to my Admin machine. Same result, I can print successfully, but the user still gets garbage.

have checked the print dialogue boxes of the two machines - they both look the same.
Could it be something to do with the fonts.ini or notes.ini, or where else can i check printer settings - both machines are using HP Deskjet 1120c accross the LAN.
I am not running citrix. I have an NT4 mail server, and 95/2000 clients.
I have searched the client notes.ini for 'cache' etc.. and can not find the variable you refer to.

One of my users has a problem - when he prints his Calendar from Notes, a strange 'graphicky' font is used instead of a traditional text font.
Somehow, i have recently found that 'Helvetica' is one of the standard fonts for Notes, but it does not appear to be installed on the client machine...
I have the same problem, but my mail sever is NT4.0. Most clients are Win 95 and a couple of Win 2K.
I was mailed a possible fix, which involved not locking files whilst BackupExec was backing them up.
