Retrieving record ID after insert
The best way to solve this problem is to move your sql insert into a stored procedure. After the insert runs have the stored procedure return the @@Identidy value. Ex INSERT INTO jobs (job_desc,min_lvl,max_lvl) VALUES ('Accountant',12,125) SELECT @@IDENTITY AS 'Identity'- cmansert

Question about web reporting??
Is it possible to disable IE from recording the URL containing the DB connection info in the Temp. Internet files directory? I used frames to hide the url, but this info can still be seen by looking at the Temp. Internet files.- cmansert
