If I move the mouse slowly, it still does the same thing. After clicking the start button, as I begin moving the cursor up, the first thing highlighted is "shut down" - so the shutdown dialog box opens up. The mouse behaves fine in all programs other than IE and the Windows desktop or...- sppeart
