anyone know how to disable the mess
There's no such registry key on my servers. Doing a registry search for "check_associations" reveals 3 entries and they're all set to "No". Still I get the message?!- BluffRooster

Client printer mapping
If u're using Feature Release 2, use Policies in CMC to create a rule that disables a group of users' printers. It's easily done.- BluffRooster
