    Problem solving exercise!

Hi Firebird Thanks very much! Not sure if I'm being a bit dim, but... should there be a link to your guide there then? Very happy to have a read. I've grabbed that little log file, so thanks for that. I can see what you've done there and I'm familiar with all of it except for the CDB change...

Implementing queued call position announcement in AACC

...me now. In that case, the most obvious syntax that springs to mind for implementing the counter and announcement is... IF POSITION IN QUEUE *skillset* = *#* THEN OPEN VOICE SESSION PLAY PROMPT VOICE SEGMENT *bespoke voice seg stating "you are position number"* VOICE SEGMENT *predefined...

Understanding and diagnosing DDI dialling restrictions

Hi both. Thanks very much, this is great. Good to know I'm on the right path, but obviously there's something more going on here. Firebird Scrambler - We're using ISDN30 trunks, all "EURO" rather than DASS. We've got 5 of these, all configured under a single route (100). Printing LTM does...

Numbr of channels on a DASS circuit

Fantastic, thanks very much Bignose21. I'll give it a shot.

Numbr of channels on a DASS circuit

Hi Firebird, Hi bignose. Great, thanks. I'm not at my desk right now, but just thinking about this... I might be being an idiot here, but what's the best way of finding the route associated with this DASS circuit? I'd guess a print of all RDBs under LD 21, then identify the circuit and it's...

Building brand new ACD sets - LNRS 16

Hi KCFLHRC, thanks for the advice. I always de-acquire them before making changes, no worries there. Though I do use easy change if there's a change to make. I should go through the whole phone to make a change then I guess? I'll bear that in mind, cheers.

Numbr of channels on a DASS circuit

Hi all More questions, I'm a bit of a regular nuisance lately! I need to find out how many channels are available on an old DASS ISDN30. I can see the DCH numbers under LD 75, but is there a way of seeing how many channels the circuit has, e.g. in the manner that LD 60 allows me to view EURO...

Building brand new ACD sets - LNRS 16

Fantastic, thanks very much, I'll give that a try. Having taken the above onboard, I've now noticed LNRS on non-ACD sets too. Obviously not something ACD sets rely on, given that point and your advice, which is good to know. I'll need to look, but I reckon the sets I created likely have LND...

Building brand new ACD sets - LNRS 16

Hi everyone. I've been building ACD sets for years, but (confession time)... I typically copy an existing one. I know I'm not supposed to do this really, though I've never (thankfully) had any issues. I've now come across some ACD sets in a client contact centre which are very untidy and can...

    Don't worry, got it - 75 and 74! :)

    Checking up on DASS circuits

Hi everyone I haven't had to do this for a while, so it's escaping me... How do I print out details concerning DASS ISDN circuits? For example, I've got LD 60 and LD 96 for itesm such as DCHs and loops using EURO ISDN30s. I can't remember the equivalent loads or command for DASS circuits.

AACC scripting - use of global vs call variables

    Great, thanks Bignose21. A lesson learned :)

AACC scripting - use of global vs call variables

Just out of interest... I'm not sat in front of it right now, but I'm pretty sure that when I set up a new integer variable I'm given the choice of making it global or call, as usual. Would it still work if I simply used a global integer variable? Or is there any specific reason why I...

AACC scripting - use of global vs call variables

Bignose21, you hit the nail on the head, thanks very much! The example of how this kind of variable can be used is exactly what I'm using it for - an 'evac control' for the event of fire, bomb threat, etc. the existing feature uses CLID to approve the caller, then offers an IVR where they can...

AACC scripting - use of global vs call variables

Hi everyone Apologies is this is the wrong area of the forum for this post, I took a guess based on some other AACC scripting related posts. Just looking for some clarification on my understanding of global and call variables. I have an application where an integer call variable can have a...

Use of headsets on Option 11 telephones

Hi Wanebo Yep, HFA I'm aware of, for headset use. And yes, "hands free" meaning speaker phone does make sense, though in this instance although the users have used the temr "hands free", the impresion is that they actually need headsets (e.g. based on the location of the phones concerned and...

Use of headsets on Option 11 telephones

Hi everyone I'm experienced in supporting CS1K based networks, and though I understand much of the administration is the same on an Option 11, I've never actually touched one. I now have a colleague who has come into contact with a site asking for "hands free" capabilities via their Option 11...

How do I find the IPs on a set of MC-32 cards?

Great! Found it all under node in EM as you suggested (had the same advice from another engineer yesterday too). Thanks very much everyone.
