Hi,
I have a web page as my desktop background, with a javascript imbedded in it. Wnen link on the page is clicked the script runs (a little animation), and then stops. However, when the script starts, it launches my default web browser, rather than just run on the desktop page. Is there a way...
Hi,
I am trying to create a vector drawing of our company's logo. My only example is a jpeg with a white background. The jpeg is anti-aliased, so separating the letters from the background using the photoshop magic wand tool doesn't work very well.
Currently I'm tracing the letters with the...
okay, here's some code.
I opened publisher, and pulled an oval, like you might do in Illustrator, and saved as web, which produced the following code. (actually, what's kind of funny, is the code it produces for a blank page is almost as intense).
Good luck! I'd be interested in any isight...
hi,
A friend recently created a web page in MS publisher that was able to draw ellipses or curved edges of div type elements using style sheets instead of graphics.
I'm a hand coder, and admittedly a little rusty, but I was wondering; is this a MS proprietary thing, or is this something you can...
todd,
thanks for responding.
I tried those variables, but with no effect.
I suspect this issue has something to do with the xref related controls in the ACAD "options" menu.
Usually, when we create xrefs at work they can trim or extend lines like blocks, so the issue never came up.
This problem...
greetings,
I was wonderiing if anyone has any insight into this.
Normally, when I place an x-ref in a drawing, I am able to use lines in the xref as extending or cutting edges for extend or trim operations for non xref lines in the "host" drawing. They behave like a block; for trimming, e.g...
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to "force" stacking of fractions in MS Word. I believe I'm running 2003.
What happens is my autocorrect recognises certain fractions (e.g. 3/4) but not others (e.g. 7/8).
Is there a way to stack unrecognised fractions?
any help appreciated...

hi;
I posted this in the NS forum but got no response. There aren't many posts there, so maybe that forum's not used much. I thought someone on this forum might be able to help.
I got a new machine at work, and I would like to transfer my Netscape 7.1 cookies into the new machine. I can't seem...
hi,
forgive me for such a basic question, but I haven't done this for some time and I'm at work away from my reference books...
How do you set the default status of a radio button, i.e. one is checked on page load?
thanks

hi,
I'm drawing in 3D, and usually I set up several viewports to keep track of object locations; front, side, top, and an isometric view. In the isometric view I enable "hideplot" so wireframes are hidden in that port for plotting. However, I have to do a plot preview to see it while...
hi,
I was wondering what steps you have to take to implement downloaded lisp files. I see the are txt. files. Where do you put them, and how do you access or run them after they are installed?
thanks,

hi,
your script worked fine without any tweaking on my Mac OS9 in IE4.5, IE5, and NS6 & 7. I guess it has to do with whatever other browser your user has, or the preferences for their browser.
