I've tried that but now I'm getting:
Inbound TCP connection denied from 192.168.131.222/49388 to 10.39.193.55/3389 flags SYN on interface outside
I wasn't sure how to interpret the access-list command so I also tried connecting to 3389 on the interface IP (which would be OK as well...
I've done a little bit more testing and I can get the connection from the 192.168.131.0/24 network to work if I use this nat command:
static (outside,inside) tcp interface 3389 10.39.193.55 3389 netmask 255.255.255.255
But as soon as I try to enable NAT from inside to outside the error above...
I've just tried this config but I get the same error.
ASA-3-305005: No translation group found for protocol src
interface_name: source_address/source_port dst interface_name:dest_address/dest_port
A packet does not match any of the outboud NAT rules. If NAT is not configured for the specfied...
It'd probably help if I posted the NAT config:
global (outside) 1 interface
nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
access-group inside_access_in in interface inside
access-group outside_access_in in interface outside
Here's the access list, one to allow file sharing (CIFS) from the server network to...
Hi,
I'm reasonably new to Cisco ASA firewalls and I'm having trouble getting one to work as an internal firewall on my network. Its replacing a Sonicwall 3600 firewall.
Here's what I'm trying to do:
I have a production network (outside - security level 0) (PLC's, old PC's etc.) which is on...
Hi,
I've recently upgraded to Exchange 2010. I added 2010 to my existing Exchange org (2003) and began moving all mailboxes etc. to the new servers. I've now gotten to a stage where everything is moved except for the Public Folders. I've been following this article from Microsoft...
Hi,
I have a customer who has a fairly large network of 100+ locations all connected to a central site (192.168.1.0/24) via MPLS (Cisco router on each branch site).
Their routers are controlled by an external vendor and the branch sites can only access the central site...they can't access...
Hi,
I've recently installed Arcserve 11.5 SP3 (upgrade from 9) but I've been having major problems getting it to do an incremental backup of Linux Servers. I run Full's at the weekends and then incrementals during the week but no matter what I try all the files get backed up every night. I'm...
Hi,
I've recently upgraded to Arcserve 11.5 sp3 and I'm having trouble getting the agent to work on 2 Fedora Core 7 Linux servers which were working previously with Arcserve 9.5.
I get a warning when I do the install saying the OS is not certified to run the agent but I got that with all my...
Hi,
I've just set up a CENTOS 4 server with Samba (Version 3.0.25b-1.el4_6.4) and OpenLDAP (2.2.13-8.el4_6.2) and everything is working fine apart from adding machines to the domain. I'm using smbldap-tools and I've added the correct lines to my smb.conf to call those scripts when a machine...
I've made a small bit of progress, enough to get me going anyway. If I browse to the samba server using the IP Address I can get to the shares no problem...I'm still not sure why that is because the WINS/DNS settings on all machines are the same but its a workaround for now. Once I find the...
Hi,
I've just migrated our Samba (Samba version 3.0.23b running on Fedora Core 7) file server to authenticate to Active Directory and I'm having trouble getting Windows 2000 machines to access shares. Windows XP machines can access the shares no problem.
If I browse to the Samba server name...
OK, found the problem....should have spotted it earlier. I had modified the allow transfer to the windows server but not allow query which should have been the first thing I did...working now, thanks for the tips.

This is the error I get in the Windows server:
20080108 09:01:09 B1C PACKET UDP Rcv 192.1.2.4 73a4 R Q [8580 R REFUSED] (3)test(0)
I've done a bit more digging and it does look like security. I noticed that at the start of named.conf on the Linux server there's a line to include...
Hi all,
I have a requirement at the moment to add a legacy Bind DNS zone to a Windows 2003 server. I found this step by step guide (http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-6350_11-5084484.html) and added my Windows server to the Allow Transfer section of named.conf but I still get an error in...
