Hi "robwalker",
Check out http://marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase/ipoffice32en/mergedProjects/manuals/manual_pdfs/apps/appllicationsinstall.pdf on the Avaya knowledgebase (http://marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase/), which is the beset source of Avaya documentation I've found so far...
Believe me, you're not alone!
I went through the processing of having to create custom reports for a customer late last year and also had no end of trouble understanding Avaya's thinking.
Their documentation is pathetic and their support is not far behind. Even now I still have a lot of...
Hi,
A customer has created an application that accepts the 5 command line paramaters from a Phone Manager screen pop. However, when the calling number is "witheld" no parameters seem to be passed.
Has anyone come across this and how can the extension number be passed to the custom application...

Couldn't be any worse than the standard reports though!
I've just spent 3 weeks trying to figure out the whole Avaya system to do reporting for our customers - in the end...
I ended up restoring our customer's Archiver database to a new database name in SQL Server and pointing CCC to it through the "Database" tab of the CCC Reporter Admin console. I Restarted the CCC Reporter service and was able to report off their database.
After a day of testing I found the call...
Hi,
We have CCC 5.0 running in our office. We also have a customer running the same version of CCC and I am creating reports for them.

For anyone who has similar requirements, I think I have found the solution. We created a new Hunt Group (which we called "Developer") and added my desk extension as an agent to that group. To save re-typing, following is part of the solution I sent to my customers:
Test configuration and notes...
Thanks for the reply Matt.
I also found the change in the Phone Manager installation PDF but haven't got it working yet.
Do you have any further information about what it actually does/what is affected but implementing the change?
Cheers,
Jason
Hi,
(Please note: My background is software development, not Avaya engineering and I am new to development with IP Office)
Is it possible for Phone Manager Pro to pass DDI numbers to a 3rd party external application? I have external screen popping working to an application, however all I get...
Hi,
Is there a way af being able to turn Do Not Distrun on and off in Phone Manager externally to the program - ie. I want to write a program that can do it for me under certain conditions.
I have tried via the TAPI but I'm having trouble learning how to program it and make it work.
Is there...
Hi. Thanks for the info, it's pushed me on the right track.
I'm beginning to understand what to do now and I'm playing with the the lineDevSpecific function at the moment (not much success yet though). Luckily I found a couple of VB TAPI sample programs to work with.
I'm trying to write a little application that just sets the status of "Do Not Disturb" on the line using the IP Office TAPI (version 2.1 or 3), with Visual Basic 6 or .NET.
I have no TAPI programming experience (just a few hours reading up on it now) and most of the samples I have come across...
