how to identify network cards from bios hex vendor id ?
hi,martyn here. have some (working)pci network cards I would like to use on my home network(w98,linux,dos & novell 5)They have NO fcc id or manufacturer name but bios reports vendor id's in hex. how can I resolve these id's into manufacturers names ? btw these cards will b used on w98 & novell...- altraider

ID of vendors of network cards
Hi from Martyn I'm a poor peasant who has some (working) pci & isa network cards with no vendor name or fcc id printed. Bios gives vendor id's of 10d9 & 1202 for 2 of them.Does anyone know where this list of vendors can be found or have any clues on how to identify the vendor as the chipset...- altraider
