Why does currency show 4 decimals

Have a customer who is trying to shortcut a conversion from Foxpro 2.6 to VFP 7. He is asking me why he gets 4 decimal places on his reports. I think he knows about things like 99999.99 etc. What he wants is a global approach.

Since this could make me some money am looking for an answer. Anybody have any ideas.

Hi Danceman,

Turns out your answer was a near miss Set Decimals say shows the minimum number and defaults to 2. But it references SET FIXED ON/OFF - Default OFF. If I set that on the display seems to be right.
