All - This may not be the proper thread to post this, but this is as close as I could categorize this so it can reach the proper geeks.
So... Recently I had to display Temp/Weather/Forecast to some INOVA LED boards. But the licensing didn't permit much access at all to outside sources. But...
All,
Odd issue here... Say you have a call inside ICM and it's currently active with an agent.
Then you some other CTI application does a snapshot on the device/station that is on the call... ICM gets out of wack and starts displaying an error for ANY CTIOS action (disconnect, hold, retrieve...
All,
I am working w/ an ICM server connected to an Avaya PBX via CVLAN.
If I use callObject.MakeCall() - I can set UUI data on the new call and see it on the origin PBX using Avaya tools as well as the destination PBX (cross pbx).
If I use callObject.MakeConsultCall() - I pass it three...
Howdy all! :)
It's been awhile since I have been on here... But I am trying to find out some info about avaya with respect to establishing an "ip trunk" to an IVR (asterisk server).
From my reading... This is pretty straight forward and I found the docs on how to setup Avaya -> Asterisk with...
All,
I have a unique issue where we have a single cti (tserver) that is linked to multiple pbx's.
We have one command CTI application that connects to pbx a or pbx b via this common tserver.
On pbx a we do all sorts of stuff like making calls, placing monitors on devices/stations, monitoring...
we had similar problems as well... They lingered for months before they started becoming a problem. As long as load was small, you would never see an issue.
However odd things occured during peak call times and after months of investigation we found that several of the ethernet settings were...
All,
I was hoping to be able to use an old IP address of a former RTA server, but I was notified today that the CMS server no longer has it in there. :(
Normally having this type of work done takes a long time and is very costly. I would assume this is a simplistic task, but I can't find any...
There are default ports that are used, however from what I have read they can be customized on the CMS side.
Remember that CMS is the client and your RTA box/app is the server. So it's the CMS client that is selecting the ports to talk on, not the RTA.
If you have a spare linux box on the...
Check your switches and various network components for half duplex/full duplex settings.
Most network components leave this at AUTO... Be sure to lock it down to what you want (full duplex). And be sure to lock in your speed as well.
I have only seen this problem on remote sites with T1...
multibus,
Thanks for the input. Actually on Friday I was able to get the odbc driver working, but only to read you post that says it's only historical data.
I do however have one last quick route and possibly a freebie route. As we used to have a lightlink application that utilized an RTA...
Yeah... I just used dialogic because that is what we use. If you wish to get really fancy, you could not use any cards and utilize h323 instead. But that would make things way more complex.
I would recommend putting the recordings in a common mp3 format due to size... plus then you could...
I think they wav files have to be 8-bit mono using ulaw or alaw.
More than likely it was prob some IT geek that tried sending you standard windows type wav files and didn't take the time to make sure they were in a format you required.
Good luck.

This is pretty simple stuff to do!
1) Have your programmer research the TSAPI docs on single step conf.
2) Add a T1 bank to your PBX and assign vdn's to it.
3) Get your developer a list of VDNs and a dialogic board or something similar.
4) Your developer then needs the docs for dialogic...
I wrote extensive TSAPI code in C++ and C# to run multiple PBX's and over 300 agents.
Since I am forced to use windows as my OS instead of *nix like I wanted. I am forced to restart the CTI/TSAPI applications nightly!
Windows is the WORST platform in the world to run tsapi stuff on!!! It's...
