Partner ACS R7 with VM Ring on all sets

Another thing you can do is program line ringing off or delayed on as many extensions as you want. that way you will only hear the ring at those extensions that are suposed to ring if VM is busy. Keep in mind it takes VM up to 5 seconds to release port when a caller hangs up.

    Old Pana Xfer trbl

yes, it used to work, and its supposed to work for outside calls, it just doesn't any more. flash does put caller on hold but if you dial from the single line set you flashed, the call drops. 25 year old system, sending it for refurb woulkd cost more than its worth. damn thing wouldn't even make...

    KX-TA 616 Easaphone, nearly fossilized!

Yep, old KXT-616 Easaphone. Not much program options, a few dead extension ports, prolly no RAM battery left. Installed layed on floor under a paper shredder trash can. Wires under a pile of magazines, poorly spliced to a 25 pair IW that goes to who knows where. Its in a little $20 per nite mom...

    KX-TA 616 Easaphone, nearly fossilized!

Yes, I thought of that& it might help, but it might also send all programs back to default. I wouldn't imagine the battery has anything left in it. I would have to check & record every program for status first. And then I'd give it less than a 50/50 chance of working. I'll run the idea past the...

    Setting up on LAN

If your talking about an ACS system, no IP address is involved. Only the unified messaging uses LAN. What are you wanting to do?

    PARTNER ACS phone system help???

Yes Yes Yes!!! Brian, leave the 66 block in!! cross connect from the 66 block to the ACS module. If you have the ACS mounted on the wall properly and close to the 66 block a qualified tech could do this for you in less than an hour. And then when changes are needed or troubles arise(and both...

    KX-TA 616 Easaphone, nearly fossilized!

I have no idea how old this one is, just saw it for firstr time yesterday. The customer can no longer transfer from a SLT by using flash. The flash does put the line on hold and returns system DT to the handset after 2 short beeps, but as soon as digits are dialed the call is dropped. I tried...

    Toshiba (shudder!) Strata DK424

true true, and once i figured out the terminology it was easy. (Toshiba's have probably the best manuals of all the Japanese systems.) Even got around a Pana.DBS once, but it wasn't fun. Talk about Japlish !! and the older pana KXT series. "Useful information for program to use it." Hafta wrap...
