    I appreciate the replies. Yes I have done all the suggestions. The problem it seems was Roxio EZ CD Creator 5. I got tipped off from another board. Rolled back to a Norton Ghost image prior to installing EZ and now everything works and installs just fine. Thanks, Zax

    Win 2000 won't allow me to install Norton System Works 2002 and Sonic DVDit 2.5 even though I'm logged in as administrator. I've also tried the 'run as' routine with no luck.
