    Hi bcastner, Thanks for the fast reply. One thing it is a fresh install of the windows XP. Second immediately after the fresh install I have applied the SP2 from Microsoft. I am not rejecting yours but doesn't this guarentee that I have a clean winsock stack. How do I update the winsock stack...
