Here was the resolution that I discovered today after re-visiting the customer site. Also I had my first replacement system plugged in all weekend and the time advanced as expected so I figured it must be something either with a device(s) onsite or the local carrier lines connected to the...
I forgot to add that I metered the power to the system and it is reading roughly 117 VAC coming out of the receptacle, UPS and the power bar. The voltage on the 4 analog lines connected to the system is 48.2 VDC.
I was recently called to a customer with a 8x24 cabinet that I suspect took a power hit as it was not functioning. I replaced the 8x24 with a MICS s/w 7.1, 2-port fiber cartridge and 2 station mods. On their 8x24 they had 22 T7316e sets and 23 T7100 sets which were moved over to the new system...
One of my customers has a CP100 and when they are on an active call and try to use Feature 986, they get a 'not allowed' prompt on the display of their set. I have tried from other sets and made sure they have enough intercom keys assigned to the phone but still am scratching my head. Has anyone...
I am pre-programming a new BCM450 R5 with two 32+ DSM's, one FEM and one DTM, when programming the FEM and then plugging in a Norstar station module we have discovered that the port numbering seems to be all over the place. For instance the W/BL pair on the amphenol comes up with the extension...
Same rules applies as to Norstar, you can gang two Norstar ASM's together on one fibre port. So you could have a total of 12 Norstar on the FEM in the BCM450.
Yes both are Nortel HD's that I'm imaging on a BCM400, I'm plan on putting a new S/W version on the drives to use the system as a spare. It will not have any applied keycodes at this time so I'm not concerned about that.
I am planning on re-imaging a BCM400 that is equipped with a redundant HD. I have re-imaged BCM's with single HD but never have done one with a second HD. If I re-image the primary drive does this also write to the mirrored drive? If not what are the steps to get the new image on both drives?
It could just be a bad LED on the Base Function Tray, I have seen this before on one of my systems. The power LED was not lit on the front of the BFT however after looking under Administration>System Status>LED Status it showed it was working fine. I tried a reboot but it still will not light up...
I have a customer upgrading their BCM400 3.X box to a BCM450 R5 and they are using Unified Messaging. Will I need to update each users version of UM before this feature will work as the version of UM in the 3.X system and BCM450 will be different?
