When employees start outlook 2002 they always get the message “requesting data from exchange server…..” any ideas on how to remedy this problem?

Our company has a server running exchange 5.5 and the workstations are running windows XP pro. When the employees open outlook 2002 they receive a dialog box that says “requesting data from exchange server" what is causing this and how do I remedy this problem?

I tried manually starting the service but the error message 1053 did not start in timely fashion. Help?

The IMS service seems to be stuck in the starting mode and does not change. I tried to reboot the server but did not help. Thanks for point ting me to the problem, but I do not know how to fix it. Any Ideas?

I have been running exchange server for about 1 year on a server, no problems. Two days ago it stoped recieving and sending? Inner office mail works fine but no external activity. Help or Ideas?

How can I get access 2002 to inport a excel file by clicking a button, and then have the data goto the right table and cells.
