From the Startup.ncf you are loading NWTAPE.CDM! This should not be loaded as ARCserve uses it's own device drivers and this can potentially cause the conflict. REM this line out and rename the driver just to ensure that it doesn't load. Also, Please check the CONFIG.SYS and Autoexec.bat file...
