Desktop will not load after ICA authentication on W2K

Desktop will not load after ICA authentication on W2K
When on a Win2K Thinkpad, and initiating Citrix client, the following happens: 1) authentication to domain - no problem 2)desktop appears to be attempting to load, but no activity takes place - no scripts run - desktop never loads. 3) Looking at connection status, no incoming traffic.
