    I use legato 6 Sun client. I am trying to recover a saveset and it's taking forever! The backup took an hour 10 min to run. Now i'm recovering the data and it's been over 10 hours recovering. Parellism for the client is set to 4. What would cause this?

    I have tried another drive still get the same bad file number at 237. So I believe it's the tape thats the issue. So now I changed browse time to an older version like Nov 1st.     Nevermind all I've figured out the issue. The recovery is requesting a tape and the tape is in the jukebox however it appears the tape is labeled incorrectly. thx

    Using Networker 6 I currenlty have some clients backing up and want to do a recover of a different client. It's in a browsing state ..I assume it's waiting for the other backups to finish. And there is one drive available. Why won't it recover while another client backup is running?

    Why aren't tapes set to appendable?

    I'm using Networker 6. There are many tapes that have a mixer of recycable clients and browsable clients. I expect a tape with some recycable space change to the "appendable" stage but it doesn't. So therefore it's taking up reusable space on the tape. I set it to appendable manually sometimes...
