Hi,
I have an SQL module licensed on my Legato server, it was being used to back up an SQL server, however, I wanted it to back up a different SQL server. I removed the SQL client from the group and left only the SQL client that I want to back up. Now I get a message in the monitor window that...
Hi,
I have installed Networker 7.1, upgrading from 6, however, it is a fresh install and onto a new server. One of the clients I have reinstalled and now in the monitor section I am receiving the following message:
"media notice: check sotrage node: clientname(dstart: invalid pidor bad return...
If I add a new tape to the drive a backup will work, however, any subsequent backups will not work, error as above. Sounds odd that each SDLT tape can only be used once?
Well it seems to have solved that problem, Thanks!
However, instead od receiving the 'unable to receive' error, I'm now receiving the following error on the monitor page:
'media warning: \\.\Tape2 moving: fsf 16: unknown error 23 (0x17)'
What does that mean?
They are brand new tapes, DLT8000. I need to label them before Legato will use them.
Also now in my main tape library back on the Legato server I'm receiving the following error : 'media warning: \\.\Tape2 moving: fsf 16: unknown error 23 (0x17)'
what do you think is going on?
Ok I've done that, however, now when I try and label a tape on a storage node, the new label doesn't appear. It still reads <unlabelled> with a 'read open error: unknown error 2 (0x2)'
Help...
