It was a DNS issues. I guess my whole understanding of DHCP and Static was a little off.
When using DHCP, the dns info is passed to each client, but in a static environment, you have to specify it. I though once I put the firewall's ip address as the gateway, it would be passed.

Thanks for the tip, but I have rebooted the soho unit severa times. Besides, if you change how the firewall handles DCHP, you have to reboot it inorder to apply the changes.

I am having troubles getting on the Internet when I disable DHCP on the WG SOHO 6.
To connect to the ISP, the location uses PPPoeP. If I keep the WG setup to act as DHCP server and the PC is setup to get the IP address automatically...it works fine.

Is it possible to pass data from one database to another...and I am not talking about tables. I would like to open another database from one database and pass login parameters to it to ensure the user has rights.

I want to create a simple Login form that the user enters thier username and password. I then (somehow) want to pass this information to our SQL Server to verify the information is correct. If it is, I then would link up the appropriate tables that will be needed.

I have XP Pro with outlook 2000. Just starting yesterday, the little icon in the systray that lets you know that there are new items that are unopened in your mailbox. When I go there, there is nothing new. When I open my mailbox, after about 2-3 minutes, it will appear.

Weird problem that just started and not sure exactly how it can be possible.
I am a valid user (admin) on a NT 4 Server. I have a folder on it that is shared.
From my workstation, that is running XP Pro with Novell Client, I can't connect to the folder, IF I use the IP address in the UNC...

If so, is it possible to change the script via code (is it like a text file or something) to meet the user's needs? For example, each day, a new file is created...
