Creating relationships and web forms for a multi table database

Try using the Access Wizard to create a "dummy" database, first. The way I learned about relationships was by fooling around with a recipe database that came with the application, I think it was Access 97. Version 2000 has other wizards, that are more "business" oriented, but...

    Getting Started with Online Courses

This is a very interesting discussion, particularly the point made about people, teachers in particular, not wanting to feel "foolish." I think lots of people feel insecure about writing what they think, unless they're forced to do so on an essay exam. I wonder, too, if students of...

    suggestions

If your company is also using MS Outlook, you might want to check into using Microsoft's Team Folders. I'm not sure exactly where it is on the MS web site, but it's easy enough to find by using the Site Search engine. I've seen it implemented, but have not tried using it.

    Saving Visio to BMP files

Save Visio graphic as bitmap. Open bitmap in say, MS Paint.
Select the Visio text and delete it, or just draw a white space over the existing Visio text. Then click on the text tool, the icon for which is the capital letter A. Re-Type the text. To format the text style in MS Paint, select...

    Graphic file format converters

I noticed that nobody mentioned using Microsoft Paint to convert a bitmap to a .gif or .jpeg file. If you're using Windows 95, 97, or 98, Paint is available from the Programs/Accessories menu. It's free, and you don't have to learn a whole new software package, although you do have to fool...

    Looking for training material...

    Thanks for the response.

Here is what I was basing my commentary on:
"Today, existing specifications allow using ATM as a "dumb" pipe for transporting IP applications. The work in progress to map DiffServ control information to ATM signalling will eventually allow IP...

    Looking for training material...

In late 1995, I thought we'd be using ATM for everything, including bringing multimedia to the desktop. It was a very hot topic by mid-96, but now it seems to have dropped off the map.

Any users out there who care to comment on whether or not ATM is practical for anything other than use...
